Description
Periods of crisis test more than budgets; they test relationships. This session focuses on how fundraisers and gift planners can show up for donors with authenticity and compassion when circumstances are difficult, especially during local or community wide crises.

Participants will explore approaches for donor outreach that center care over obligation, acknowledge shared impact, and maintain trust even when giving conversations are paused or reframed. The session will also address how thoughtful stewardship during hard moments lays the foundation for deeper engagement when stability returns.
